Highlight: So, you buy a Class-C RV. You’re not rich so you have to finance it. There are taxes and tags and there will be a yearly county property tax to consider. Then you realize your new prize possession needs to be “outfitted”. You need tableware, cookware, all kinds of things here there and everywhere. By golly, you’ll probably even need suitably styled underwear. That brings us to the featured picture for this post. Yep, we even needed one of these.

Three uniquely different individuals are all deeply involved in this “outfitting” process. Yours truly has simple tastes and grew with a joy for primitive camping. A sleeping bag is good enough for me. Beautiful and highly refined wife, however, is determined that the RV experience is for “glamping”. There will be no sleeping bag! The bed will have fine linen.

Meanwhile, ornery but lovable Maine Coon cat demands only the very epitome of feline comfort. He can’t go anywhere without a scratching post, his favorite blanket, 30 to 60 of his favorite toys, and a huge spa-sized cat pan with at least 30 pounds of fresh, unscented, expensive kitty litter.

We haven’t made a single journey yet and already I feel the need to take out a second loan. I’m sure that I will eventually be won over to thinking like my wonderful spouse and Mr. Monte. At Serendipity Farmhouse and El Camino Del Monte, I hold the minority and losing opinion. – So, Glamping it will be!
