Imagine the Possibilities

Hi! Mr. Monte Here.

To my 23,417 feline followers, especially my many cat cousins residing in Virginia and Ohio, Winter is not over yet. We know that because we have instincts and highly advanced feline intellects. Nevertheless, a warm, sunny day like today informs us that Spring will come. Days like this make the mind leap ahead and think of what Spring will bring and cause the heart to imagine the possibilities.

Farmhouse Setting

This old farmhouse is blessed to rest within a vast 1.203 acre estate. And while some folks have to spend thousands to create an artificial water feature, Serendipity Farmhouse is happily nestled alongside the North Fork of the Thornton River. And it is there, beside the river, that I’m able to see the first signs of Daffodils and Resurrection Lilies.

Resurrection Lilies & Daffodils

While walking from the driveway to our farmhouse deck, you can encounter amazingly hardy wildflowers that have withstood the recent frosts. Each of them is a miniature delight. – Where there’s a will there’s a way, even on a Winter day.

Inside the house, at the top of the old stairway, a recent newcomer, a cutting from a much older Christmas cactus, has decided that this is the day for first blossom.

I’m Not a Sentimental Maine Coon Cat

Normally, I’m not a sentimental kind of Maine Coon. You all know that. So what started today’s rumination on flowers and possibilities. Simply said, It was Blondie. Today she received two bouquets of Roses from one of her highly cherished children. You can see how beautiful those roses are by looking at the featured picture at the top of this post.

Imagine the Possibilities When Your Favorite Human is Happy

When Blondie smiles and her heart is happy, how can I not feel that way too. So, please excuse me now while I take some time to dream and imagine the possibilities while lying here in the afternoon sun.
