Highlight: Without a doubt, the highlight for this period was Valentine’s Day. Our own soon to be world famous Chef Monte prepared a Valentine Cherry Pie for us that was, shall we say, the “cat’s meow”. (See How to make Valentine Pie, by Mr. Monte)

A perennial favorite here at the soon to be world famous Serendipity Farmhouse Test Kitchen, Julia Child, inspired us to recreate the fascinating and flavorful dish called “Sauté de Boeuf à la Parisienne” (Beef Sauté with Cream and Mushroom Sauce).  (See Sauté de Boeuf à la Parisienne – SFH Style)

What better way to spend a Winter day, than in the kitchen with the one you love?

SFH WX Station Report: Typically variable winter weather prevailed. Highs, lows; wind, calm; rain, snow; sun, clouds were all there for us to enjoy or not enjoy. All the more reason to head for the kitchen and cook up some comfort food.
