Meanwhile, dear, beautiful, patient, and loving wife suffered my absence with courage and resolve. Despite temperatures inside Serendipity Farmhouse that neared 90º and a river that once again threatened to overflow its banks, she maintained her calm, she held the fort, she showed “true grit”. That’s just another reason why Mr. Monte and I love her so.
