SFH Journal: 2018-05-28

Highlight: It was a busy day. It was an enjoyable day. Most importantly, it was Memorial Day. (See our post: “Thank you for your service”.)

Lovely wife and I spent much of our time in the soon to be famous SFH Test Kitchen preparing food and on the deck tending the grill. Mr. Monte supervised and freely gave pointers. We must also note that his skills with the new Nikon DSLR have been improving as he photographs our cooking exploits.

The day’s kitchen and grill accomplishments included baby back ribs and some goat milk cheese. (See: Baby Back Ribs at SFH, Goat milk cheese? – No, not just yet., and Goat milk cheese? – Yes, now!)

Weather: The day was overcast and relatively cool, only reaching a high of 80º. I suppose some may have been disappointed, but, for those of us with no air conditioning, it was perfect.  (Detailed Summary – click here.)

Plantings: Nothing to report.
