Daily Highlight: Daughter #1 and her family came to visit today. It is my most sincere belief that there is no family living between the great Atlantic and Pacific oceans that is more disposed to conversation and ready sharing of views and opinions. Cordial, pleasant, and animated repartee appears to be their family stock and trade. With them, there is no such thing as an ‘awkward silence’. That being the case, dear visiting sister-in-law was both entertained and drawn into the discussions.

The three-hour visit was all too short. Many hot dogs, hot links, and sandwiches were consumed. Several visitors found there way to the glass chicken bowl and Granny’s ‘secret’ stash of chocolates.

Weather: Afternoon thunder storms cooled and cleaned the air. This day, there was no need pull out the hose to water the gardens – God provided. (Detailed Summary – click here.)
