Weather: There was a sprinkling of rain in the morning with clouds into the early afternoon. That was followed by partial clearing and at 62º it was warm enough to eat dinner on the porch.  (Detailed Summary – click here.)

Daily Highlight: My wife’s sister arrived for a visit at SFH this morning. We spent the day relaxing and catching up on what’s been happening in our lives. When it was approaching dinner time, we introduced her to the soon to be famous SFH test kitchen and she participated in making a fresh batch of butter. With her help, we had butter in seven minutes flat.

The only down side to the visit is that Mr. Monte is a bit miffed because ‘his’ bedroom has been taken over by this intrusive visitor. However, after he read our post “Ruffles & Flourishes”, Mr. Monte decided that perhaps he can share his bedroom with the visitor.
